Recycling
The recycling program revolves around the gathering of used casings/cartridges and recycling as much of the component as possible, and any items not recyclable will be responsibly destroyed. Lexmark's corporate policy is zero landfill, zero incineration, and it has become a way of life for us.
Plastic components are stripped and sorted into their respective materials. These materials are granulated and supplied to plastic converters for the manufacture of various plastic products. Typical applications for the materials found in the cartridges are seedling trays, wire reels and any number of engineering products.
